... If you saw this on your television, anyway. It’s the start of another segment of that wildly popular all-idol program, Are We Pokelive? Sunday! and yet again it’s broadcasting from your ‘gear! What gives?! But that’s not going to stop these girls from having their show broadcasted!

And so, the feed is treated to another trio of idols seated behind a desk, once again in front of a live studio audience! ]

Hey everyone! Haruka Amami here, and it’s time for Are we Pokelive? Sunday! Are you ready?! The show’s about to start!!

[ The show’s graphics pop up on the television screen/gear’s feed, along with the show’s quick jingle before transitioning back. ]

How are you, everyone? The weather’s been getting cold and snowy lately, right? It may be a bit chilly, but it’s just perfect for your ice-type pokemon! Don’t forget to let them out and have some fun this winter!

[ Next to Haruka, the pigtailed idol droops a little in her seat, wrapping her arms around herself and shivering a little bit. ]

Uuu~... or it might be a good idea to let out your fire-types and snuggle up with them! It’d be bad if anyone caught a cold or anything, so be sure to stay warm! Promise big sis Yayoi, okay? [ At that, Yayoi grins at the camera- before blinking and widening her eyes as she remembers something- ] Ah! Speaking of big sisters! It’s time to turn it over to today’s segment, so stay tuned, okay?? Azusa-san! You’re up~!

[ And with that, Yayoi sweeps her arm in Azusa’s direction! ] Good evening, everyone~ It’s Azusa Miura~ Which means it's time for...

Azusa's Future and Foresight Cornerrrrrr~!

[The video fades out for a brief moment, before it focuses back in on Azusa, flanked by a Alakazam and a Gardevoir! All three of them give a small wave to greet the viewers.]

Are you ready, everyone? In this segment I'll use my two highly skilled friends here to tell your fortune for the week! Today's method of reading your fortune issss...

[DAN DAN. A card covering the video pops up as Azusa voices it over.]

Your starting Pokémon type~!

My, that's one that anyone can relate to, don't you think? Mine was a Ground-type... So, let's see what my two friends can do~

[With a perfectly calm smile, Azusa looks to the two next to her, as they both close their eyes, giving off a bright blue glow as they concentrate. A quiet jingle plays as the two focus, before a dramatic DAN! sounds when they simultenously open their eyes. They then both turn to Azusa, letting out a few audible noises before she nods.]

Oh my... It seems as if my fortune is I'll have good luck with money and work, yet run into trouble when I stumble across a strange Pokémon while out training... And... my luck with love is at an all time low...?

[Azusa remains straight faced, smiling pleasantly, yet the two psychic Pokémon startle slightly, as if they just read something scary off of her mind. There's an awkward silence for a few seconds before Azusa chimes back in:]

... So~! If you want your fortune read, please reply with your starter type~!

[The video slowly fades out from Azusa, while a small jingle plays and it focuses back in on the trio sitting behind a desk. Azusa looking as pleasant as ever, despite the scare she just gave those two psychics. Color Haruka impressed!..

Rather, a bit shocked that would be full on terrified if it weren’t a live airing! ]

Wha--Wo--Wow, Azusa-san! What a detailed fortune! But a fortune is just a fortune, so you can enjoy the supposed good and then focus on the not-so-good, ri-right?

[ A SHEEPISH AWKWARD LAUGH as she gently nudges Yayoi beside her to say something positive before Azusa’s psychic rage gets the best of them... and with a startled twitch, the pigtailed idol stops blinking in confusion at Azusa and snaps back into the here and now. ]

Eh? - ah! Yeah! Azusa-san, don’t worry! With good luck in work and money, I bet you can take on anything that comes at you, and, um, besides... the week will be over before you know it!!

Now before we kick it to you viewers... Hey! Pokemon breeders! We would just like to mention the Breeding Center in Goldenrod City is here to meet all of your pokemon breeding needs! From egg-raising to pokemon baby care, even to nursery school; we’ll give your little champs a whole litter of champs!

[ Yayoi claps her hands together, looking appropriately impressed! - and then something occurs to her, and she briefly glances down at a piece of paper on the desk.]

And, um- that’s not all! Next month, on the 15th and 16th of February, the Breeding Center will be hosting a gathering, just for pokemon breeders! It’s right after Valentine’s Day, so don’t miss the chance to, um...

[ She frowns and sneaks another peek at the paper on her desk, and that peek becomes a full-on squint. ]

... ‘pimp it out however you see fit’...? Haruka-san, Azusa-san, what does that-

[--Haruka dives in front of the simulcast camera, both arms flailing trying to distract the audience and viewers alike to that massively inappropriate thing said live on air while Azusa calmly gives the younger idol a quiet glance, before returning her gaze to the camera to activate emergency procedures.]

It means it’s time to go to a commercial break, Yayoi-chan~! We’ll be right back, everyone~

[At which point the video feed fades off, Azusa cheerfully waving as it does, while Haruka continues to flail at a confused Yayoi. What a way to go for a CM break...]

Oh my, if it isn't Shinn-kun! Hello, Shinn-kun~ *Azusa gives a wave to the cameras, showing a bit of familiarity doesn't hurt.*

You're our first fortune of the day-- *as if her own wasn't given.* --so let's see what they say~!

*The two psychic types BEGIN THE FOCUS. Reading off into the far off astral plane to ride the train to Shinn fortune town. After a brief lunch on the train, they hop off at the station, eyes opening wide! And they start to communicate with the idol once more.*

Let's see... This week's fortune for Electric-type is... Oh dear, bad luck... Yet you should have average luck with money! ... ... and... oh my, they say your love fortune is simply "complicated."

[ And DURING the commercial break, Yayoi is worried and mildly suspicious as she looks between Haruka and Azusa, unwilling to let go of her question! ]

What DOES 'pimp it out however you see fit' mean-? And, um... Haruka-san, why were you waving your arms?

...yeah, that's kinda detailed isn't it...

[And that it sounding just like a day in his life doesn't help at all...!]

I-I'm just curious Yayoi-chan, where did you hear that from?

They're just going to get more accurate as time goes by~ Right?

*Giving them both a smile, as they nod solemnly. This is only their first time doing this corner, so they're determined to get better and more accurate!! ... even if fortune telling isn't 100% accurate in the first place.*

I'm sure if you ask again next time, we might even be able to predict your lucky color or Pokemon...

I think Yayoi-chan might have been given a script that wasn't properly cleaned up of notes...

*Azusa gives a pointed glance to the director, who tenses up a bit, averting meeting her gaze.*

I didn't hear it from anywhere! It was on the-

[ And then Azusa makes her comment, and Yayoi nods in agreement, blissfully unaware of the pointed glance ]

- the side of the script, so I thought it was a last-second addition that they wanted me to say... was that a bad thing?

[ ... Yayoi may be unaware of the sharp glance, but Haruka sees! She doesn't give such a stare, instead chuckling quietly. ]

I think it'd be best to focus on the rest of the show, and we can worry about some strange things on the script later!

[ Note: Haruka doesn't deny that Yayoi said strange things just now. Instead, she's quickly skimming the script, making sure there's no more strange things up and coming... ]

Mm. We're already half way done, so we should consider what to talk about~

*Oh! Looking back to her fellow hosts, completely forgetting her reason for giving the director such a look.* That's right, did you two have any new ideas for segments...? He did say we could suggest almost anything, as long as we included Pokémon...

Okay! Um, let's see...

[ Distract Yayoi: SUCCESS! She brightens up as she focuses on the task at hand, momentarily forgetting about strange things... ]

Ah! Maybe we could do another cooking contest, like in Gero Gero Kitchen!

[ Haruka looks up from her script. Kinda unpleasant memories flash back into Haruka's head. She had her unmentionables broadcasted on cable television, none the less! ]

A-As long as we get to wear pants, I guess...

Ah!

Umm!

That would be a good idea! We could make poffins too, and the judges could be pokemon!

Oh my, a cooking contest...? I was never given those kind of jobs back home... It would be an entirely new experience for me. You two always looked like you were having fun with them though~

*The question of how well Azusa can cook is likely a mystery to them...*

My starter is a ground/ghost type.

*Azusa gives a nod to the two next to her, as they start focusing! With some humming and hawing, the blue glow eventually fades from the two, as their eyes widen, before starting to convey their reading to Azusa.*

Oh my, so excited... Let's give you a proper reading, Menma-chan~

*With a smile to her two psychic partners for this, they begin their SIGHT BEYOND SIGHT... leaving Azusa to quietly hum the jingle for the corner as they predict. After a moment, their eyes open wide! The predicted future being conveyed to the idol.*

My, it would seem as if Menma-chan has great luck~! You could have a exciting encounter if you wind up going someplace you haven't before... Your luck with money will be good this week as well... And... Oh dear... How strange, they didn't say anything about your luck with love...

[She just kind of watches and listens in awe.]

Hm. I wonder who or what I'll meet. The rest sounds pretty accurate, I guess.

It makes you curious, right? That's part of the fun of fortune telling... When you're given one like that, you can't help but want to go out and see what it means...

It does. I'll have to see if it comes true.

[ CLAPPING HER HANDS EXCITEDLY, she nods eagerly at all the predictions. New places, eh? She'll have to go somewhere new this month. And the money! She needs a lot of it to travel again, so that's greeeat!

But-- ah... uh. Love? Menma pauses the clapping. ]

There's so much snow as of late, you can certainly go on that discovery easily... Maybe you'll stumble across a stray Ice-type amidst it? Or a new friend...

Hmm... Perhaps it just means it will be uneventful for you this week?

*Azusa casts a quiet yet pleasant glance to each of them, wishing she had been told that rather than just awful luck... Which makes them both look a tad uncomfortable.*
